I have a mk902. All the original firmwares and any firmware built on JellyBean were unstable with my TVs. I got around to putting smics most recent KK firmware on it and wala, instability was solved.
But now I have a couple minor annoying issues with XMBC that I would like try and solve. (But seriously I can actually live with these. Just wondering if anyone knows anything off the top of their head.)
First under JB playing radio streams through the shoutcast addon, were stable. But in KK I get an occasional interruption. I know its disconnecting because the station I listen too has a connect announcement that re-sounds when one of these disconnects happens. I have tried setting cache in advancedsettings.xml and upping the readbufferfactor, and I still occasionally get these breaks. (no big deal though since they are infrequent enough for me to care much. But if anyone has some advice it would be appreciated. I have run WIFI analyzer and I am the only signal it finds, and the signal is nice and strong.)
The second annoyance is that I like to have an alarm setup to wake me. Under JB, XBMC would just continue playing the shoutcast radio stream and the alarm would sound right over it. (The stations I listen too help me to sleep. :ROLL ) I kind of liked that behavior. But under KK the alarm sounds at the same time killing the radio stream. Would there be a way to allow the radio stream to continue to play? (Again its not really a big deal since I need to get up at that point anyway. But I still would like to change it back to the old behavior if I can and I don't mind digging into build.prop)
