Hi i'm using the sixaxis app to connect the ps3 controllers to the draco. when i'm playing two player on epsxe playstation emulator (crash team racing) one of the players spins around in circles while the other player works fine. I've tried fpse with the same results (player spins). I had no problems with my cx919. Any ideas what could cause this problem. Many thanks. Rob

Youtube and other player stuttering
I have a stock standard PIPO working, but notice that after a few minutes of watching YouTube or Foxtel Go (A media player, using Silverlight, I believe, to watch pay channel TV here in Australia), the system starts stuttering and going slow.
However, I can watch Kodi (XBMC) 1080 videos for as long as I want without issue. Seems to be YouTube and the Foxtel app only.
I have run all Windows updates. I haven't changed anything in BIOS. I haven't applied that INTEL Graphics update (As it told me my system wasn't suitable for the update).
Any way to resolve this?

MXiii 4k Android TV Box Problem, Noob here, sorry if this is wrong area
My box boots straight to Google TV Logo, then loads MBOX Logo and hangs there, I have tried like crazy to get this box into recovery mode to re flash, but it just won' boot into it. I tried using a tooth pick in the AV port until clicks in and hold it there , then I insert the power cord, then I press and hold power button while still holding toothpick in, it just keeps loading up Google TV logo then MBOX Logo and hangs, is there a trick i`m missing with booting into recovery, stumped, been at this for hours.

OTA FM Tuner App...
Hello, I just learned the AP6335 supports FM(76-108 MHz) reception. I have tried a few tuner apps, none have worked so far. Does the UT3 support the AP6335's FM receiver?
Thanks.
Update:
Never mind, a closer look at the data sheet leads me to believe that the WiFi and BT antenna inputs are on different pins. That and other things in the data sheet, suggests it will take more than an "App".
Thanks.

Help - my TV box has no video output. (CS918)
My CS918 TV box has no video output.
My TV box started misbehaving badly so I decided to try and do a full reset by pressing the button on the bottom.
All this did was then cause the box to fail to boot.
I opened the box up and compared the PCB to some pictures I found on this site and then downloaded a ROM to attempt a re-flash.
So, I flashed the firmware using the RK batch tool and the flash completed successfully, I connected the box up to my TV and all was great, the box booted up and was working.
So, I replaced the top cover of the box and was already to re-install all my apps but now mt TVs (2 of them) are both saying no HDMI signal.......
Help!

**Certification:** CE/Rohs
**Accessories:** 1*USB cable, 1*multi-language user manual, 1* box, 1*charger , 1* screen protector
Here are a list of pros and cons from the above review.
-----------------------------------------------------------
**Highs**
Good performance
Decent battery life
No bloatware
Stylish design
Low price
**Lows**
No notification LED light
Questionable camera performance
Inconsistent quality
Aftercare concerns
**Additional features/issues mentioned in review but not accounted for in the summary of pros and cons.**
**Additional Pros:**
Powerful ledlight (Of course, this will be great to use as flashlight)
Quick charging - 25% charge in 30 minutes.
Good outdoor pics (note: No image stabilisation though)
Good call quality even in areas of poor reception
MicroSD upto 64GB
Almost stock android experience
**Additional Cons:**
Poor low light camera performance.
Flaky GPS. (Author reported using only GPS freezes the unit)
**Relative Issues:**
No 4G support (Not like this is an issue if you are buying the phone as the specs are well advertised)
Stock browser is laggy (Just uninstall the damn thing!)
No preinstalled GAPPS (gmail, youtube, map) - All could be properly installed though.
**My first impressions:**
-------------------------
**PROS:**
Wow that thing is lightweight. Makes my redmi 1s appear like a brick.
The screen is lovely even if its QHD. Very good brightness I can barely differentiate with the redmi 1s 1280*720 screen.
Extremely responsive UI.
Build quality is excellent in my sample.
Came with a plastic screen protector and back cover protector.
**SO SO:**
There was a small speck of dirt under the plastic protection.
**
My real life use of the device:
-------------------------------
**-** GPS was perfect once it locked up. Took 4 minutes first time and 30 seconds the 2nd time. *If you have poor GPS reception, read below for a fix.*
**-** Battery life is good but not excellent. DU battery saver reported 21 hours of use vs 35 for the xiaomi. It is my 3rd charge though and the figures are increasing. It was initially 18 hours. It definetely is not 2200 MAH more like 1800 imo.
**-** Phone does not heat/overheat unlike my xiaomi.
**-** Little bloatware. Only one garbage 'sammy app'
**-** Wifi worked flawlessly especially when downloading apps from the play store unlike the Redmi 1s.
**-** Extremely bright screen even with brightness tuned down to zero. Had to install a screen dimmer to use at night.
**-** The stock launcher had dissapearing icons issues when apps were moved to phone memory after rooting. A fix would be to install a new launcher. The stock one is more than enough for average/no
**-** Keeps showing an error on boot about sim card not found if only one sim card installed.
**-** Extremely loud boot up sound. PUT MOBILE IN SILENT BEFORE REBOOTING AT NIGHT!
**-** The phone memory partiotining is a mess....Why on earth partition it into a system and internal memory. What a headache. I will try partioning a SD CARD and see how the phone reacts.
**-** Not the sharpest of camera images with much grain and noise even in good lighting conditions.
A video on the medium setting was somewhat 'soft'
**-** It is non rooted. *See below how to root.*
What are the POTENTIAL issues that can be addressed and be fixed by the user?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
**GPS hanging:** Install the MT EPO GPS FIX (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...m.chxdev.mtgps)
**Poor stock browser:** Install any browser of your choice on the play store
**Google apps missing**: All can be installed and will work fine
**No notification led light:** An application like DU Battery Saver will help you know the charge of your mobile.
**Non-rooted:** Can be rooted using 'KinGO Root' (http://www.kingoapp.com/android-root.htm) with PC + USB cable or use an android app (forgot the name. Ill update later its much easier)
**What more could I have wanted in this device at this price point?**
Well, honestly, for this price, not much besides maybe a 1280 * 720 screen but then again, you would probably have to give up on faster performance, slightly better battery life and maybe the price would have been hiked up a few dollars.
PS: This is a non sponsored review and I paid for my unit. IF it was sponsored, I would have added screen shots comparison, videos and more :stuck_out_tongue: I also bought 3 more of it and is considering to buy yet 2 more.

How I fixed my HD Ready overscan issue
Hi,
I'm posting this because I saw a LOT of overscan issues not being solved here.
My setup: Pipo X7 (of course) and a "HD READY" Samsung LE32R73BD connected via HDMI.
I first tried, of course, to check the drivers settings, tried different version of the driver.
No success for me but you should try this first.
I tried then to modify settings on my TV, but I only got a "zoom" preset that did not let me setup it properly for me and did not saved the zoom preset.
I tried to access the hidden service menu that should have let me put my TV in some "1:1 mode", or not scanning the image (I've been reading that it should work via VGA cable but I'm still waiting the HDMI>VGA adapter I ordered)
So try this by looking in your TV menu, or hidden service menu. Search for the display name of this feature for your TV set. Be careful if accessing Service Menu Mode as some parameters modification could break your TV.
I was left without any solution for my issue. Began to rage ^^
But I found a way to hack the HD Intel Graphic Driver to setup a custom resolution:
- PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THOSE TOOLS YOU COULD DO SOMETHING REALLY WRONG WITH IT -
I don't give the EDID/Modeline I found on my TV set because each set is different and I first used a DTD for a very close Samsung set that was not working for me.
Here's the reference webpages where I found all the details you'll need (except for the calculation for YOUR TV's DTD, but I did mine by myself):
- The "basics" (aka YES you can do it manually by editing the Registry but I had some part of my registry I could not access): https://software.intel.com/en-us/art...intel-graphics
- How to use of the softwares: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/303998
- Some other posts that helped me setting up the right resolution for my TV:

- PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THOSE TOOLS YOU COULD DO SOMETHING REALLY WRONG WITH IT -
- Calculate the perfect Custom Resolution for your TV set by extracting the EDID (aka Modeline) of your monitor/TV with a free program called MonInfo by EnTech: http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/moninfo.shtm
- Copy and Interpret EDID Raw data in another free program called DTD Calculator by Clever Tec.: http://www.clevertec.co.uk/productsfree.htm
- You will then have to find the closer resolution that fit your TV set (for me 1280X720) and tweak it with thte "Tuning" option of DTDCalculator to find the perfect match (I ended with 1200X680@60Hz)

Bricked my MXQ S805
Hi,
i made a mistake by flashing a ROm for the S802 chipset on my device with S805 chipset. :BANG
Now it seems to be totally bricked.
It shows no picture anymore, when i switch it on. Only the power-led turns on.
Can i do something to rescue it, or did i screw it up?
Thanks,

HPH V6 Red Lines on screen
Hello guys,
I've received my hph V6b, this week. It's the 4g/32g version with the latest firmaware, without hdmi but 3 usb ports + otg.
At the beginning all was ok but after a half hour I begin to see red lines and marks on the screen,
as well in games or applications as on desktop.
I looked in config pannel to change refresh rate on hdmi 1080, it was at 60 fps, I put it at 50, marks and lines disappear but returned few minutes after. So I put rate at 30 fps and since that moment, no more lines or marks... Is that normal? Is there a risk that at term lines and marks will come back again? I thought that with the latest firmware the box was able to work in 4k at 50 or 60 fps so Is it normal that in 1080 Its limited at 30 fps?
Do you think I'd better sent it back or it's normal and I keep the box?
Thank you...
:-)

[AINOL WINDOWS 8.1 MINI PC] [My REVIEW]
Ainol
Windows 8.1 mini pc from www.geekbuying.com![]()
Windows is activated (Not a trial)
![]()
The Ainol windows 8.1 mini pc has an modern looking aluminum case witch doubles a great heatsink (No modding required) and measures 15cm x 10.5cm x 1.4cm and weighs about 12 ounces.
The device looks & feels like its of high end quality and is very well made "That well made i cant open it up as of yet" but as soon as i find a way into it i will upload some photos of the guts. This rely feels like a premium device.
![]()
The front of the device has a small power button two full sized usb ports & a star shaped power indecator light,On the rear of the device we have a mini USB 3 port,a micro SD card slot,Mini HDMI output port,a 3.5mm head phone jack port & a 5v DC power port.

In brief
Ainol Windows 8.1 Mini PC TV Box uses a 64 bit Intel Bay Trail-T Z3735D quad core CPU, pre-installed with Windows 8.1 operating system, with 2GB DDR3L RAM and 32GB Emmc ROM, supports Bluetooth 4.0 and wifi. It comes with a USB 3.0 interface and two standard USB 2.0 interfaces. This Mini PC is also a power bank with a 7000mAh battery and can charge for other mobile devices.
Setup
The first thing i did when i got the ainol was to create a backup recovery to a USB stick using this guide for the pipo (Thanks go to Bob for putting this guide together)
http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...th-the-Pipo-X7
I then let windows do its thing & update everything after several restarts more updates & 3 hours latter i was ready for the next step.
One thing I will say is for some reason the windows updating processing screen is in Chinese:face
![]()
Then i made a system image backup by following the above guide guide (step3)
I also midified the boot.wim using this guide so my recovery was in english
http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...overy-USB-Disk
After i had done all the above it was time to start playing,When it was fully charged to 100% i upplugged the power lead & iv played some films from a external HD powered by the ainol for just over 6.5 hours now & the battery is at 19%.The ainol is not even warm & I mean no heat at all thats using no external power surply just the built in battery.
Also iv just Installed kodi this runs great (IMO kodi runs better on windows than android)Easy to install & does what it should.
Below screen shot shows CPU temps after almost 3.5 hours of using kodi web streaming

As you can see the download speed seams to drop on the Ainol more or less straight way I don't no whats coursing this maybe some interference from some other devices I have running.
Quick facts
Boot time is 12 seconds
shut down is 3 seconds
logitech c270 webcam works
64GB micro SD works

Overclockmatic_RK3288
This is a little tool which can parse resoure, kernel or boot binary image files (*.img) or even mtd partitions (root required) to find CPU, GPU and memory settings and then change them. Also it can find and change CPU frequency lock in kernel for OC above 1608 MHz.
It should work on every CPU architecture because it use some heuristic to determine endienness of binary data and current CPU.
Oveclocking values are defined in .cfg file.
Using Terminal Emulator in Android you can OC RK3288 without problems:
For example:
./overclockmatic_RK3288.elf 3
will read /dev/block/mtd/by-name/kernel and check what CPU frequency lock are there. Then offer to modify them. Of course in that case root access is required. When modding img files then not so much ;). But after that you will need to flash them "manualy" under Windows.
Default maximum frequencies:
You can also use this tool just to check what settings are in these files.
All changes must be confirmed before any data is written to file(s).
For now binary version is only for arm7v and works under Android.
