Does any one know how to downgrade the rom to 4.1. Cant run netflix on 4.2.2.

I the past I had no luck trying to install Rockchip driver for Windows 8 x64 This driver worked the first time.

Connect MX2 to the OTG port with usb debugging ON (DO NOT USE OTG cable) just use mini usb to usb.. Go to device manager right click on Rockchip >update driver > Browse computer for driver > Let me pick Device Drivers > Have Disk Go to were you have driver downloaded to Rockusb Driver v3.5 > X64 > win8 Install...

Then you can install Finless Roms with ROM Flash Tool Just make sure you have USB Debugging turned OFF with This Tool..After installing Driver

Or you can leave it on for the RKBatchTool and .img Files

I installed kasty-imito_mx1_mx2-422-20130504-rooted3.zip with Update.img inside Works just find...
AnTuTu = 9518

Hi,

I was clicking around the icons on the bar at the bottom of the screen and I noticed one of them is to hide the bar.

Question is, how do I unhide the bar once it is hidden?

As the title states, I've got a spare iPhone 3GS 16gb Black.
There is physical wear on the device, no cracks on the glass. Brand new battery just installed.

I have no real need for this device anymore. It used to be used as my htpc remote, but just recently got an MK908, and now ive got an airmouse!

Not really looking for anything in particular, just throw offers/trades my way.

I will post pictures / more specs ( ios version ) this evening!

Ive been waiting for 3 weeks now for fixes that should have been already done on this t428 device.
Netflix does not work correctly, If your testing this program you need to run a control with more then 20 seconds of watch on a tv larger then 20 inches. Its really getting upsetting with each update and talk of this fixed and that and basically its alot of TALK.

I ran netflix for 30 seconds on a 52" tv which is almost a standard "Entertainment" for american living rooms
Most people that buy this device and other sticks are looking for Media device not a email or map.

I hate ranting on but comeon this has gone on too long now how many others are feeling this pain and wondering if they spent 100 dollars wisely on something that still does not work correctly.

Even Fineless has said you gotta watch it more then 10 seconds. and then on a tv larger then a monitor.


Im saying it one more time... Netflix does not work , studders and locks up on a 52" tv after just a few seconds.

Hi All,

I have been waiting all week for my t428 to arrive and as i have an imito mx2 running Bobs excellent rom
" huge thanks Bob btw " I have been checking here for news and just to see whats happening really for this new tronsmart stick.

I was horrified by some of the stuff i read, to the point where i nearly never opened it yesterday when it arrived I was just thinking get it punted on fleabay try and get my money back sort of thing.
Main worrys i read were an insufficient power supply, and over heating issues although the no sound issue bothered me a bit and the poor video playback.

What I have found though 'although 24 hrs admitedly is a limited test time', is its a great stick.

Im lazy and ran my mx2 through the usb port on my LG tv simply so the whole thing booted when i turn my tv on and also switched off. So I have tried the same now with the t428 and have had no problems what so ever, I have ran antutu over and over as i asumed this would make it crash but it just hasn't even when I run this bench test repeatedly. My score is 15517 so not great but i was well chuffed for a tv stick i think thats pretty good.

On the heat front no matter what I throw at it the unit stays stable, dont get me wrong its fairly warm but never hot even after running a bench test straight after another. Just finished watching sean of the dead and its still luke warm to the touch.

Sound works as well. Only problem I have is the new official fimware for the netflix fix has a really slight judder to it , nothing bad just slightly noticable on hd stuff.

So I was just wandering if Tronsmart had two hardware versions out ? Or maybe all these problems will appear soon, did u guys get these issues straight out of the box ?

It always bothered me, that I didn't have immediate feedback, whether my Ug802 is powered or not. The led is hidden, and the only way to see it, was to look at the device from different angles, or in complete darkness. I wanted a way to let the led shine through. At first, I drilled a small hole in to the case, as seen on the Mk808, but found it insufficient. Steel peeking through holes. So I decided to etch a straight gap from the hole to the side of the lid, an put a square piece of transparent plastic in it, wich should guide the light, out of the box. I used a piece of plastic cut from a CD-RW jewel case, I had laying around. Shaped it, with a nail file, to the shape of the casing, and glued it in with some hot glue.

hi all im new to freaktab i come from another development site because there is not much development for these devices there. i bought my dongle off ebay from a company in china. it is an r-box rk3066 either an mk802 llls or a mk808 there is nothing on the outer of the box im rooted so i checked the build prop and it says nothing about the model i want to flash CWM but cant untill i find out my model is there an app that anyone knows about that could tell me i have tried antutu but it just reads it as rk30sdk im stuck.

Hey, I popped open my CX803II today, hoping to find some more info about the hardware inside and to my surprise i noticed that it contained a Mediatek MT 6622 Wifi/BT chip. Not the Realtek chip that's been listed in it's specs, i'm going to guess that this has been the reason that roms from devices that were thought to have been similar have not had any luck getting BT/WiFi working.

Gonna see if i can find a RK3066 Rom with MT 6622 Wifi and flash it and see what happens.

EDIT for clarification it's a MT5931 Wifi chip with MT6622 Bluetooth chip.

Hi,
I am having wifi issues with my new MK808B.
The internet connection is weak and also unstable. I have looked at all the antenna fixes suggested here but I am not confident of my soldering skills.

Can I just buy a usb wifi adapter and use that for my internet connection?
If so - then which one will work with the MK808B?

Does the QX1 play Netflix and other video apps smoothly or does it have the same jitter effect as the tronsmart mk908? Wondering of course if the kernel from this rom (assuming it´s got smooth video) could be ported to work for the 908. I tried flashing it outright but it wouldn´t post a screen. I´m assuming it is a similar issue to the rk3066 devices - mk808 kernels wouldn´t post video on a ug802 for instance because it used a different port internally (eg: hdmi1 vs hdmi0) for video output.

Just figured it was worth an ask. Thanks!

Hey Bob, I am not rushing you or anything, I am just wondering if you are going to make that 1.3 rom for the x5 ? I have been waiting for it because I am using you 1.2b and I dont want to wipe everything and install Minix new rom and then have to do it again if you make a rom.If you are going to make a 1.3 I will wait but if not let me know because I will go ahead and install Minix rom so I can have surround sound. Thanks

How good is geekbuying on replacements? My t428 is dead! Doesn't power up anymore. Stock power supply led blinks a few times, t428 led does not light up anymore.

Cube Mini MS 1.04 900supersport ROM

Notes

• Flashing will delete everything on your Cube consider backing up first and remove any sdcard

Instructions

• Download and extract to a folder
• connect the tab to the PC (you did remove the sdcard)
• start the ROM flash tool
• put the tab into flash mode, the PC should detect it, see below for instructions
• install drivers if required
• erase idb
• flash, the ROM kit is correctly configured
• the tab should boot to recovery and format cache, data and sdcard (this will take a few minutes)
• the tab should now boot

So what do you get?

• defaults to english uk
• root
• some bloat removed
• busybox and init.d support
• play/market fixes for more apps in Google Play

I don't have a mini MS so this should be considered a beta ROM until confirmed.
